How to Use This Calculator
Type any numeric value, pick the conversion target (binary, hexadecimal, scientific notation, or Roman numerals), and click Calculate. Decimal precision and locale formatting keep the outputs readable, and supporting KPIs show the integer conversions side-by-side.
Advanced settings let you toggle grouping separators for large numbers and force uppercase letters when displaying hexadecimal results.
Methodology
We treat the entire value as the source, then trim to the integer portion for radix-based displays. The Roman numeral feature only reacts to whole numbers between 1 and 3999 so that the representation stays standardized.
- Decimal output follows the precision and locale you choose, preserving deterministic rounding.
- Binary and hexadecimal values rely on the absolute integer portion; we reapply the sign afterward.
- Scientific notation uses the same rounding strategy but always shows a mantissa and exponent pair.
